Batting Cage Improvements

· July 31, 2017 ·

Cal Ripken Baseball has four age groups for little league baseball playing at Zack Rogers Park each year.  Most age groups host teams from other areas as well. On any given day during the season the batting cages are in use for practice or games.  Visiting teams may find themselves without a batting cage due to weather or safety concerns prior to the project.  Combing city personnel and equipment with Ala-Tom RC&D resources we were able to complete the pad for the first batting cage with plans to do cement pads for all batting cages for both softball and baseball at Zack Rogers Park.
