Sparta Academy added a 3 year old program to their existing program.  In order for the program to be established, much work had to be completed on the existing room to allow ” new additions” to be able to attend school.

Work was completed on sewer lines, water lines and the classroom had to be updated to meet the needs of the 3 year old children.

 

Project Rocky is a community effort to help with the purchase of a new canine for our department.  Unfortunately, we have retired our K9 Officer, Ana.  She has served our department for over 6 years and has been a true asset.  Her health is our deepest concern and it is important that we do what is best for her.  Therefore, we are happy to say that we have acquired a new K9 to serve as Ana’s replacement.  Choosing a new canine was not an easy task. Rocky, a dual purpose (narcotics and apprehension) K9 has been a great fit for the department.  He provides extra protection to his handler as well as the community.  Project “Rocky” is proactive enforcement that will benefit us all.
